The Land of Disney!

Adam and his family have always been huge Disney fans, and yet we have never seemed to make it there with our own family. In fact, since having kids, we haven't ventured out on a single family vacation -until now! This November we walked into the park after a long drive, a 24-hr flu bug for the Carter man, two nights of no sleep because both kids got the croop, and over an hour in guest services because of mix-ups with our tickets, and we had a blast!

We were lucky enough to have one day in Disneyland with Adams parents and have them be a part of Rachel and Carters first experience in the park. I never thought the highlight of my trip to Disneyland wouldn't be the rides, but would be meeting the characters! From Aurora to Cinderella or Mater to Tinkerbell, we had an awesome trip!

I couldn't believe how much Rachel lite up when she saw and got to talk to the princesses, she would run to meet each of them and they were all so amazing with her.It took a bit of work to get her two favorite princesses Belle and Ariel, but with three days in the park we were up to the challenge. Carter felt the need to share his food with almost every one of them, and often is doing so in the pictures.

Carters favorite parts were seeing all of the mickey mouses on people shirts and hats and would get so excited each time he saw one. He also loved the Buzz Lightyear ride and was adorable to watch in the Tiki Room, especially with his love for birds he just stared and kept saying "Woah!"

Cars Land was quite a treat! They did an amazing job at making it look just like Radiator Springs. Carter has been absolutely obsessed with Mater and Lightning McQueen, and we were looking forward to how Carter would react when he saw them life size! Turns out, he likes the toy size version a lot better!

He also loved the day we went to the beach and fed one seagull a Cheeto, which lead to a whole flock swarming around us until every crumb was gone from the bag. He never really made it to the water, but would run away everytime it got close to him and he just kept saying he wanted more birds. Rachel on the other hand was a total fish, and loved jumping over and into the waves with Adam.
